Subjects

At Roots Tuition we offer a range of subjects at different levels:

• English-KS1/KS2/KS3
• English Literature and Language-GCSE/A-Level
• Maths-KS1/KS2/KS3/GCSE/A-Level
• Science-KS2/KS3/GCSE

Please note that KS3/GCSE/ A-Level English Literature includes:

• Poetry
• Creative Writing
• Anthology
• Skills in Fiction/Non-Fiction

Students are placed in classes with others of similar age and ability, and are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas with their peers. School and background are not relevant. We take a step by step approach to ensure each child reaches his/her potential:

•  Individual academic assessment by one of our teachers
•  Suggest tuition programme based on assessment and allocation of students into a suitable class
•  Enrol pupils in regular once or twice weekly classes
•  Homework, worksheets and study packs aligned with student’s learning needs and goals
•  Regular feedback on progress
